Sarah E. Andrews, M.D. F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Andrews is a native of the Texas Gulf Coast. She began practicing in west Houston and Katy, TX in 1994 after completing her OBGYN residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
She provides general and some high risk obstetrical care as well as routine and problem focused gynecologic care. Her emphasis is on prevention and early detection of problems that can then be treated with minimally invasive techniques such as Laparoscopy and da Vinci® Robotic surgery. In addition, Dr. Andrews was instrumental in bringing Acessa Fibroid treatments to the Katy area. She served on the Peer Review Committee and participates in Sub Committee activities focused on Quality Care Improvement.
Philosophy of Patient Care
Dr. Andrews has devoted her career to women’s health care and focuses on developing personalized treatment plans after consulting with and evaluating each patient. She is thorough, compassionate and believes in open communication with her patients. She also participates in continuing education to stay up to date with the latest changes to technology and research, which benefits her patients. She is especially happy to provide care for women of all ages, from teens to those in menopause and beyond.

Dr. Andrews is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medicine Examiners, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Andrews has served as Chief of Obstetrics at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. She is affiliated with and has privileges to provide deliveries and surgeries at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital and Methodist West Houston. She provides outpatient procedures at Katy Outpatient Surgery Center.
